🧑💻 Your tasks
- Development of growth strategies to open up new sales channels (channel sales) based on known targetable channels
- Strategic implementation and scaling of new sales channels through long-term projects
- Identify and scale promising sales channels (based on existing experience) in all economically relevant countries in the EEA (while the DACH region is our main market to date, the Real Cookie Banner product is legally and technically internationalized, although its marketing still needs to be expanded)
- Initiating and conducting negotiations with existing and potential partners to develop new sales channels
- Conceptualization and execution of targeted outreach campaigns to acquire new partners, including hosting companies and developers of related products
Do you have experience in one or more of the following fields that can be used to scale sales? It’s a match 🙌
- Data-based analysis of traffic and sales flows to strategically optimize sales channels
- Experimentation with data-based growth hacking strategies (with support from the in-house software development department and AI tools to scale impact)
- Strategic optimization of an existing affiliate program and supplementing it with paid content campaigns
- Development of an (SEO) content strategy to increase brand awareness with a clear focus on conversion, both on your own website and in guest posts on topic-relevant blogs
- Strategic planning and execution of targeted campaigns in programmatic advertising networks such as Google Ads, Meta Ads or LinkedIn Ads platforms
- Conception of effective on-page sales funnels with clear call-to-actions and automated lead-nurturing processes to optimize conversion rates (with support from the in-house software development department)
- Negotiating attractive cooperation agreements with large companies and indie developers, using your knowledge and sense of common processes
🧠 What you should bring and be able to do
- At least three years of practical experience in scaling marketing and sales processes for SaaS or open-source products
- In-depth knowledge of subscription business models, SaaS and appropriate sales strategies with (generally) low-priced products and economies of scale in the mass customer business
- Education and/or studies in online marketing, business informatics, computer science or comparable fields (our products and customers also require a basic understanding of computer science in marketing and sales)
- High motivation and standards to deal intensively with data protection and data protection law to implement authentic marketing (we want to advertise honestly and not bullshit)
- Experience in mentoring and leading less experienced colleagues is an advantage
- Experience in the data protection or legal tech sector is an advantage
- Use of LLMs for efficient and strategic planning and implementation of marketing measures
- Conscious sharing of successes and failures within the team
- Don’t be afraid to treat everyone personally, on an equal footing and with humanity from the beginning
- Giving and accepting constructive feedback in order to grow together
- German and English fluent/business fluent (we work bilingually)
- (optional) Knowledge of the languages Italian, French or Spanish
- (optional) Existing network in data protection and/or WordPress area
