Cancel subscription

You have subscribed to a devowl.io product and are considering cancelling your subscription? Below, we offer you the possibility to cancel easily and quickly.

Do you have a problem with our software?

It’s a pity that you are thinking about cancelling. Do you want to do it because you have a problem with your product? In that case, we recommend you to open a support ticket first. We look at every problem of our customers individually – no matter if it’s a setup question, a compatibility problem with another plugin/theme or a feature request. We’re sure we can find a solution for your problem in a timely manner!

When can you cancel your subscription?

Your subscription usually has the same duration as its billing period, unless otherwise agreed. For example, you subscribe to Real Cookie Banner and pay in advance for one year. You can cancel at any time at the end of the first contract year without notice. We do not want to gag you with annoying deadlines, but to convince you of the quality of our product!

After the first contract period, your contract will be extended according to the legal regulations. These differ depending on whether you are a consumer or a business. You can find more details about this in our general terms and conditions. In any case, you can terminate the contract at the end of the contract period without notice.

In addition, all other usual legal provisions on termination apply.

Cancel your subscription in the customer center

Still committed to cancelling your subscription? Okay, then we’ll be happy to assist you on the last few meters of our relationship!

The easiest way to cancel with an instant cancellation confirmation is in the customer center. To do so, please follow the steps below:

  1. Open the customer center at devowl.io/account and log in with a magic link.
  2. In the “Subscriptions and Licenses” tab, you will find a table of all your subscriptions. Search for the subscription you want to cancel.
  3. In the row of your subscription you wish to cancel, please click on Actions > Cancellation.
  4. A dialog will open where you can optionally provide feedback on why you want to cancel. You would be doing us a big favor by leaving feedback! By clicking on “Cancel now” you can complete your cancellation.
  5. You will receive an email confirmation of your cancellation a few seconds later.

Cancel subscription without login (manual processing)

You can not or do not want to log in to the customer center? Of course, you can cancel your subscription without logging in. However, please note that cancellations made in this way must be processed manually by one of our employees. You will therefore have to be patient for a few days until we can confirm your cancellation. Therefore, we recommend that you cancel in the customer center. This makes it easier for you and for us. Thank you for your help!
