🧑💻 Your tasks
- Support in researching and building a “European Alternatives to” Portal
- Creation of content that presents European alternatives for software, SaaS products, cloud providers, services and platforms
- Independent creation of SEO-optimized pages based on your own keyword research (using our tools and processes, of course)
- Creating SEO-optimized, easy-to-understand pages that help visitors to discover alternatives quickly and easily
- Use of AI-supported tools for research, copywriting and data-driven SEO (e.g. keyword clusters, content briefings, optimization suggestions)
Optional:
- If you wish, you can also enroll in an SEO or content marketing course to deepen your knowledge and actively contribute what you have learned to the success of the project 🚀
🙅 What are not your tasks
- Endless hours in meetings (where you don’t have much to contribute)
- Long discussions with non-technicians about our software (you work closely with our developers)
🧠 What you should bring and be able to do
- At least 2nd semester of a degree program or 2nd year of an educational training program as a technical editor, technical communicator, media IT specialist, online marketer with a focus on SEO or comparable fields
- Basic understanding of how the internet and web technologies work
- Strong interest in making complex content understandable and clear for laymen
- First experience in creating SEO-optimized content based on keyword research – preferably from your own projects (e.g. blog, website, university project)
- (optional) Experience in using LLMs to efficiently prepare content (we are happy to share practical experience with you on how to progress faster)
- Have you ever built a WordPress website yourself? We definitely want to see it! (even if it was just a sidekick fun project)
- Conscious sharing of successes and failures within the team
- Don’t be afraid to treat everyone personally, on an equal footing and with humanity from the beginning
- Giving and accepting constructive feedback in order to grow together
- German and English fluent/business fluent (we work bilingually)
