We are sorry that you would like to uninstall Real Media Library. If you have problems with the plugin, we recommend that you open a support ticket first. We will try to solve your problem!
If you still want to uninstall it, please follow these steps:
- Open your WordPress backend and navigate to Plugins in the left sidebar.
- You should find Real Media Library. Deactivate the plugin.
- Now you should find a Delete link in the same table as before. If you click it, you will permanently delete Real Media Library.
After you uninstall Real Media Library, your WordPress media library is the same as it was before you installed Real Media Library, with no folders, collections, galleries, or custom order. Real Media Library folders are just a virtual reordering of your files, but it does not reorder the files in the file system of your WordPress installation.
Completely wipe data
During the uninstallation process no folder structure or relations will be deleted. You need to activate Real Media Library again and navigate to Settings > Media > Tab “Reset”. There you can wipe the complete folder structure and relations, so your database is free from Real Media Library data. Attention: This action can not be reversed!
