In this article, we will explain how you can remove the link to the Real Cookie Banner website (powered by link) from the footer of your cookie banner. You can only disable the link in the PRO version of Real Cookie Banner.
1. Install PRO Version
Make sure you have installed the PRO version of Real Cookie Banner. The link removal feature is only available in the PRO version (purchase required). Purchase the product directly from the Real Cookie Banner site (if you have not already purchased the product) or learn how to upgrade from the free version to the PRO version.
2. Disable link in customizer
The appearance of the cookie banner can be completely customized in the WordPress Customizer. To remove the link from the footer, please navigate in your WordPress backend to Cookies > Customize banner.
In the customizer, go to the “Footer” section and uncheck Show “powered by” link.
If the checkbox is not changeable, you haven’t installed the PRO version of the plugin.
